About the Workshop

This online workshop is a one hour session exploring the benefits of collaging for our wellbeing. Get your old newspapers, magazines and books ready for this reflective and supportive session!

Drawing upon this art therapy inspired method, you will discover:

  • The benefits of collaging (not just a great recycling tool!)
  • Unlock creative thoughts and set goals
  • How to creatively explore emotions and themes

Workshop Schedule:

7pm - 7:15pm: Introduction to the session and setting expectations

7:15pm - 7:25pm: Why is collaging and 'art making' good for our mental health?

7:25pm - 7:40pm: Collaging session

7:40pm - 7:50pm: Reflective summary and setting goals

7:50pm - 8:00pm: Q&A and discussion

Tickets:

Tickets are available at £4.50 with limited availability. 

You can also upgrade to the Premium ticket at £8, which includes a package art materials for this workshop. You will need to purchase this by Monday 26th April.

More about the facilitator:

Hi, my name is Kimberley Robinson and I am the founder of Keep Real, a mental health business for good here in Yorkshire. Having delivered workshops and events over the last 3 years, I hope my degree in counselling, personal experience and active work within health and wellbeing will support in understanding why utilising creativity can support your mental health.

Over the years I have facilitated workshops and worked with some wonderful folk such as the University of Leeds, Twitter, Sky UK, The Women's Org, Mind and NHS Leeds to name a few.

If you are struggling, please do seek professional support as well as helplines that are available such as SHOUT, CALM, Samaritans, QWell and NHS Every Mind Matters. These workshops are intended to provide informal guidance and support.

    *PURCHASE BEFORE 8TH MARCH* This ticket includes slides of the presentation, but also a Keep Real package of materials of the session. Materials will include: x3 sheets of folded A3 paper x10 sheets from magazines and newspapers (randomised) x1 glue stick Please email info@keepreal.co.uk with confirmation of your tickets and your preferred mailing address.
