About the Workshop

This online workshop is a one hour session exploring the therapeutic benefits of free flow writing. Get your pens and paper ready for this reflective and supportive session!

Drawing upon this art therapy inspired method, you will discover:

  • How to connect with feelings and thoughts
  • Unlock creative thought
  • Utilise the technique in the everyday


Workshop Schedule:

7:30pm - 7:45pm: Introduction to the session and setting expectations

7:45pm - 7:50pm: What is free flow writing?

7:50pm - 8:10pm: Exploring the free flow exercises

8:10pm - 8:20pm: Reflective summary

8:20pm - 8:30pm: Q&A and discussion



Tickets are available at £4.50 with limited availability.

More about the facilitator:

Hi, my name is Kimberley Robinson and I am the founder of Keep Real, a mental health business for good here in Yorkshire. Having delivered workshops and events over the last 5 years, I hope my degree in counselling, personal experience and active work within health and wellbeing, will support in understanding why utilising creativity can support your mental health.

Over the years I have facilitated workshops and worked with some wonderful folk such as the University of Leeds, Twitter, Sky UK, University College London, The Women's Org, Mind and NHS Leeds to name a few.

*disclaimer* Please note, I am a registered Psychotherapeutic Counselling in training, not an accredited mental health professional. I do have a BSc (Hons) Counselling and a Level 4 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. If you are struggling, please do seek professional support as well as helplines that are available such as SHOUT, CALM, Samaritans, QWell and NHS Every Mind Matters. These workshops are intended to provide informal guidance and support.
